A speechless e-mail

You may have noticed that the Chem 123 exam is on Monday 8 June starting at 6.45 pm. Although I do not like the timing of the exam (& I guess many students feel the same), I am afraid there is little we can do about the timing of the exam.

As this is a large unit we need time to mark the papers (even if we could mark each paper in just 10 minutes, it would still require 25 hours for C123! - we also have 150 Intro to Pharm chem papers to mark). Consequently we need to schedule the exam in the first week and the only time available in the first week for 2.5 h exams is in the evening (uni decision, not chemistry). I know most of you have Human Biol on Tuesday afternoon and this may seem harsh, but you are all in the same position.

The university cannot timetable approximately 1100 exams in two weeks without using night exams or having two exams in two days. Exams on consecutive days is not considered unacceptable (nor is two exams on the same day). Some students have emailed me regarding public transport. If you do not have your own transport and need a lift, maybe you can post a request on the Blackboard discussion board to that effect. Please do not give your full address (just suburb and street will be OK in the first instance).

Unit coordinator,
Mauro Mocerino

This means we will be having our Chemistry 123 exam on 8th june until 9.15pm during WINTER and Human Bio 133 exam on the next day? It doesnt sound logic at all okay? My god. We wont be able to complete all study materials for these two most IMPORTANT unit even we dont sleep at all from NOW. 12 chapters for Human Bio and 24 chapters for Chemistry. AND GIPH exam on Wednesday MORNING, 12 chapters. AND THEY SAID THIS IS NOT CONSIDERED A CRUSH TIMETABLE. Speechless.

I DONT WANT TO GO BACK TO MSIA WITH PANDA EYEBAGS~
I NEED HELPPPPPP!!!
