We have two eyes and just one tongue, Which means we need to look twice and talk once.

We have 2 ears and just one mouth, so we need to listen more than we talk.

We have two hands and one stomach, so we need to work twice as much as we eat.

We have two major brain parts, the left and the right, and one heart, so we can think twice but love only one.

Isn’t it amazing that our body parts remind us how to live right?

Love: story

Once upon a time there was an island where all the feelings lived; happiness, sadness, knowledge, and all the others, including love.

One day it was announced to all of the feelings that the island was going to sink to the bottom of the ocean. So all the feelings prepared their boats to leave.

Love was the only one that stayed. She wanted to preserve the island paradise until the last possible moment. When the island was almost totally under love decided it was time to leave. She began looking for someone to ask for help. Just then Richness was passing by in a grand boat. Love asked, “Richness, Can I come with you on your boat?” Richness answered, ” I’m sorry, but there is a lot of silver and gold on my boat and there would be no room for you anywhere.”

Then Love decided to ask Vanity for help who was passing in a beautiful vessel. Love cried out, “Vanity, help me please.” “I can’t help you”, Vanity said, “You are all wet and will damage my beautiful boat.” Next, Love saw Sadness passing by. Love said, ” Sadness, please let me go with you.” Sadness answered, “Love, I’m sorry, but, I just need to be alone now.” Then, Love saw Happiness. Love cried out, “Happiness, please take me with you.” But Happiness was so overjoyed that he didn’t hear Love calling to him.

Love began to cry. Then, she heard a voice say, “Come Love, I will take you with me.” It was an elder. Love felt so blessed and overjoyed that she forgot to ask the elder his name. When they arrived on land the elder went on his way. Love realized how much she owed the elder.

Love then found Knowledge and asked, “Who was it that helped me?” “It was Time”, Knowledge answered. “But why did Time help me when no one else would?”, Love asked. Knowledge smiled and with deep wisdom and sincerity, answered, “Because only Time is capable of understanding how great Love is.”

Holidays come to the end, replaced by the coming of new semester!

It's 1st of August today. It's the first day of my favourite month, but at the same time, it's also the last day of my winter holiday! Received complaints when I was back to Malaysia, "Hey chyi, don't you think your blog is dead? When do you want to update?' And obviously, as a responsible blogger, I'm here to blog now.

28th june, reached KLIA at around 10.10pm. Mum and dad came to pick me up, and mum already prepared food for my supper. Feel safe and comfortable when I saw my parents, and even better when I reached home and entered my lovely bedroom. Didn't have any nightmares, sleep well every night. Wheeeee ^^

Holidays = eat, play, sleep. However, I did something meaningful. I helped mum to fetch the kids, spent more time at home, accompanied my mum around, played badminton and jogged almost every day except weekends. I started to meet up my buddies from the second week since I landed on Malaysia. I had a great time with them, shopping, chatting and hunting for foods. If you have my fb, you can see a lot of food pictures there.

Talking on my family, I went back to my hometown to visit my relatives and met up Kathy and Shan there. Ginger and baby Ming xuan were there too. We went to mourn my grandpa, accompanied my grandma, hunted for foods and had some shoppings. Ming xuan has been growing a lot and he is really really adorable. Besides, we had a lot of family gathering this time. Everyone enjoyed, including me. Oh ya, my bro's family moved to Usj too, and their house is just a walking distance from my house. Hehe.

Back to my life here. Stomach is not feeling well these few days. Have no idea what causes it but I think no big deal. Hope it will get well soon. Slept quite late every night and had weird dreams, maybe I am just not get used to Perth again. Uni is starting tmr, and there are only 35 students left for my batch. Need to put even more effort if I want to achieve my dream. Might not update my blog so soon! Ciao.

I REALLY LOVE MY SWEET AND WARM BED,

especially after I got new blanket, pillow and soft toys,

My current house is crazy cold as it is without carpet,

but, I'm ready for winter!

Didn't manage to sleep 8 hrs per day,

but these 2 days, finally,

I'm back to my bed!

Although only 2 days off for my brain,

I really appreciate it!

I'm using every single minute fruitfully,

to do the things I enjoy :)

I'm a girl with a lot of dreams,

I have dreams every night,

but this is the first period which

I have nightmare every single night!

Hope this ends with exams,

Whee.. finally finished Nutritional Physiology test which has brought me tons of nightmare.. Made me so deprive for sleep.. Brought me huge eyebags.. Increased my cortisol level.. Most importantly, I think my brain used up too much glucose and made me feeling hungry every single minute! :(

More than half of the class failed for test 1 so I think everyone must be working very hard for test 2 as it counts 20% to this unit! Argh >.<

I was really relax after the test yesterday! Went night shopping, played cafe world, and today, went to city after class, shopped and had dinner. For tomorrow, will be watching IP MAN 2, have been really desperate for this movie as I wanted to watch since looong time ago! Oh no, cant be so excited, need to start to prepare for my Epidomiology test on Thurs and Friday, and most importantly for finals! Finals timetable has released but the time arranged is horrible!

Hmph.. Stop thinking! Just think of IP MAN 2 tomorrow ^^

Physiology for Nutrition lecturer distributed this form in class today. It's about a study tour to Japan, for students who are doing Nutrition or Nutrition/Health Promotion double degree.

IT'S REALLY COOL!!! PRETTY AWESOME!!! And I'm sure it will be a wonderful experience for those who join. I wanted to go initially but when I read in details, it will cost each of us $3000 to $3500 for a 8-day study tour! Which is equal to RM10K T____T

Anne's friend who went last year said it was a pretty cool trip. And we saw a few 'ang moh' immediately filled up the forms and hang in. I guess their money grow from trees. Siaw chin couldn't concentrate for the whole class and eventually she said :I GONNA CALL MY DAD TONIGHT".. O..M..G..

Food is essential in my life. I love food and I study about food. I'm a girl who has a never ending relationship with food in my life! I even choose 2 housemates who are also doing nutrition course. And ppl like to ask ' You eat this? I thought u r a future nutritionist?!'

Excuse me! We study but we need to enjoy our life too okay? Conclusion:

THE HEALTHIEST WAY TO LIVE IS..

Eat what you don't like,

drink what you don't like,

and do what you don't like!

AT HOME..

we cook breakkie on weekends..

we cook nutritious lunch.. hehe.. lots of vege..

we cook pasta sometimes..

during winter, we have steamboat..

we prepare lunch boxes and bring to uni sometimes..

dayong cooked us yummy chicken rice!

but..

WHEN WE LEAVE HOME..

we have unhealthy fast food.. :P

we still prefer chinese cuisine..

we took bus to city just to get some breads.. =.="

once awhile, we release our stress like this!! -__-

Seldom update my blog recently due to my laziness.. Hmm, I am busy as well.. Finals will be coming very soon but it also indicates that I am going back to Malaysia very soon!

Went to city again on Saturday. Just randomly asked my housemates to shop at Harbour Town since Monday is Anzac Day so we had a long weekend. Bought some kinda cheap stuffs there after having lunch at a HK cafe and had bubble tea at Easy Way =)

And yeah, I am going to Carousel again tomo to get myself a heater for this coming winter!

The others were taken on San's birthday. Went to Joy HK cafe for brunch and planned to shop at city and Harbour town after that but none of the shops were opened :(

Took a lot of pics there while stalking around aimlessly. Wan said we went for photo shoot -_- Went to Leon's house for Indian night in the evening but too bad I didn't take a lot of pics. Jeff, Dayong and Bobby came to surprise San around 11 something on her big day then :)

It's Easter finally but we didn't celebrate it with colourful eggs this year. Went to Carousel in the afternoon, got 3 pairs of earring from Jay Jay's for only $5 and two tees for $25 :)

Got our bday cake for Siaw chin from thecheesecakeshop. The sales girl initially asked us if anyone of us got both 'T' & 'O' in our names. If so, she would give us discount. Too bad none of us are with 'T' & 'O' but da yong asked her to still charge us with discounted price in condition that he would tell her manager that she is a good staff =.=""

Met wan and straight to C blue bistro & restaurant after that, celebrated Siaw chin's bday there. That place was pretty nice. The food was not bad but it's quite expensive, in average $33 per portion which is equally rm100 -_- Went to seaside after that but it was too windy that night so I didn't request everyone to take a picture :(

Easter break

Yeah, holiday again, after one month since semester started. It's easter break for 2 weeks but we wont have holiday until the end of semester after this break. Basically, I went shopping, movie and food hunting every day, except today (I'm in the library, but not studying, hahah!) Just came back to submit assignments, collect my calculator and use up our internet quota :p
Went city and got ourselves $1.6 bubbletea! It was on sales!! hahah, went to Harbour town then, bought myself a few new cloths, bought Siaw chin's bday pressie and had sushi buffet! It was $27.5 but it was kinda worth it lah, hehe, satisfied our desperation of sushi! Shopped non top from 10.15am til 5.15pm and had muscle ache at night, I think I'm getting old.. Hmmm.. :(
Let's talk about yesterday's outing then, went to Carousel to watch Alice in wonderland but the whole cinema was only 10 people on sit =.="" Then forced our bear to buy some short pants, SHORTER THAN HER KNEES! After grocery shopping, planned to have dinner at Vic Park. Got ourselves some bbt again and forced our bear not to have Italian cuisine again. Kinda regretted bcoz she was complaining all along our dinner time.. soooo noisy :p

HORRIBLE RAINSTORM ON 22TH March, Perth

Story began like this...

Siaw chin was too lethargic to attend lecture, so she went home after tutorial class.

Around 4pm, while I was studying in the library with pey san,

I received a call from her saying that it was raining heavily,

Obviously, I ignored that and continued to walk to lecture alone..

After 5 mins from the lecture started, the fire alarm rang.

Our lecturer wanted to ignore it but it kept ringing so eventually we were asked to leave.

Since we ran out from the lecture hall, we saw people around were all asked to leave the building by the security guards. 'YOU HAVE TO LEAVE. THIS BUILDING MIGHT BE ON FIRE"

OMG, it was raining heavily outside!!

Rubbish bins were all blown away, trees fell, cars damaged, even ice dropped from the sky..

The situation by that time was totally like 'THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW'..

Rain came horizontally, phones were all out of connection..

and classes in curtin were all cancelled!!

It was flooded everywhere.

We had to walk to Canning college to meet siaw chin,

she said electricity supplied cut off, water flushed into our house.

Immediately had bath when we reached home as we were all wet,

didnt eat anything at night and I had test the day after!

Eventually, everything was settled (except the electricity),

received quite a lot of concerning sms,

and I had to study under the candle in the midnight =.="

In the midnight, we realized that we were totally lost connection to the outside world,

(excluding my half charged hp).

But I'm still grateful,

that we're all safe =)

And I could hear my parents' voice ^__^

It's predicted that the 2nd rainstorm will fall tonite,

so stay at home everyone!

South Perth Japanese Cuisine

On a random bored Saturday evening, after stretching and jogging San and Jeff, we decided to have some japanese food. Wanted to have Jaws' japanese buffet in City initially as we were all craving for sushi but Jeff suggested to go to South Perth in the end. It was strongly recommended by his friend. The restaurant is very small as the owner is the only cook (there are helpers), thus the food is very original and nice! All handmade :)

San and I were supposed to go to city just to get some groceries but Jeffery (we named him worm worm as he is temporarily staying in our house) suggested to go together as yesterday was our "1 year anniversary" (Worm and I have known each other for 1 year).

Early in the morning, everyone was so HIGH and kept on joking on the 1 year anniversary thingy. Our CEO suggested both of us to treat them a meal as a celebration, CEO wore skirt and commanded ass CEO to change his short pants off and they sang all along from our house to city. Hahah!

LOL, we had fun having dim sum in a bistro with 18 bucks per head. Besides, I got my fav original milk tea with sago in Utopia. After both the CEO went home, we started our shopping then straight to Wan's place to jog, chat, and had Mcd together. Reached home around 10pm and continued doing streching together, lol, had fun but muscle ache at night :(

The night before semester started, we were supposed to be printing our unit outlines, preparing for the lecture notes for the next day but suddenly.. Siaw chin passed all of us each a glass of red wine as she said we need to release our stress. When we finished the first glass, she then kept on refilling for jeff and me (as she knows san cant really drink). In the end, this happened.. MY FACE TURNED SO RED AND MY BODY RELEASED HEAT =.=""" after drinking so many glasses...

In the end, of course she herself was drunk and .... XD XD XD LOL, but I slept at 3am... -_-

Hmm.. After spending approximately 3 months in Malaysia, I''m back to Perth again. Alicia and Brian requested to overnight at my house straight after they were back from Brunei. Early in the morning, we departed to KLIA. Things went smooth except the check in queue was really long.

When I was about to say goodbye to daddy & mummy, Alicia suddenly hugged me so tied and said: Ah chyi bye bye!! bye bye Ah chyi!! Ah chyi bye bye!! bye bye ah chyi!!" continuously and didnt want to let off her hands. Brian stood beside me and just stared at me quietly. Daddy kept on taking out rm50 and rm50 from his purse for me bcoz he was afraid that I would be hungry before departing (btw, i dont think i need to much msia ringgit). Mummy's tears all rolling in her eyes. Lol, in the end, San and I both cried in the airport. LOL. I really miss them =(

I miss the time fetching the kids to school, cooking for them, see-ing the growth of baby xuan, cut guava and shared with mum at night, drank tea at pappa rich or old town..

Reached Aussieland around 3pm and we saw Wan Xing's dad coincidently, he was about to depart to Malaysia, hahah! Anyway, second year of uni life is starting and I know I wont have time to feel homesick anymore! Lots of my classmates last year couldn't make it to 2nd year. One of my senior had to retake Nutritional physiology in order to take 3rd year course. =.="" LOL, i really have to work hard and i know i'll be back very soon again!!

LIFE IS ABOUT TO ENJOY

5 DOWN 1 TO GO!! Woohooo.. apparently, I'm totally in my holiday mood now.. hehehe.. My first year of uni is about to end. Cannot cannot!! I need to strive til the enddddd. Ok lah, study tmr :P

Cant wait for our Japanese food, Harbour Town & City shopping, Carousel night shopping, food hunting and lastly my movie night before going to the airport XD

Stay up until 3.30am to do Chemistry past year with Siaw Chin and had Indo Mee at 1.30am -.-

Realized that we 'farm' too much. Hahaha XD I think I really enjoy my life with my crazy housemate and baby san in our comfortable clean house ^^

A lot of jokes happen every single night. I also enjoy grocery shopping, food hunting, studying, playing, chatting, cooking and bubble tea nights with them ^^ of coz we cant exclude our beloved xiong2 and the one who also plays with us thru webcam. Hahaha.

AUSSIE BUDDIES ^^

when I was back last week =)

After the late supper last night, planned to study but FAILED. Kept on 'fishing' in front of my books so ended up switched off the lights and SLEPT.

Planned to study today but FAILED AGAIN. Woke up at 9.45am, started to cook breakfast.

Cooked ham, scrambled egg, raw tomato and tomato paste with toasted bread, YUMYUM =) Then, helped Siaw Chin to clean her car (ended up playing with water in cold windy morning :p) and mopped the floor & cleaned the house (succeeded).

By the time I finished everything, it was already 11.40am. Took bath and went for Fish head Mihun with Siaw Chin, Da Yong, Xiong and San. YUM YUM. Went for bubble tea too. Reached home and updated my blog. Started to copy the module answer in Oasis (couldnt finish).

Took bath again and went for dinner with Xiong's dad and bro at Emma. Poor San was forced to eat a lot. HAHAHA. Reached home and continuing Bio module ans now. Coffee is ready beside my laptop now =(

Went back for my 2nd sis's wedding last Thursday, just for 3 days. It was pretty tired but I had really enjoyable time there. Skipped Chemistry and Food safety lecture XD However, I had test straight after de day I came back to Perth so I HAD TO STUDY IN DE PLANE =(

PLANNED TO STUDY but.. I was tempted by de movies in de plane.. HAHAHA. I did some studies lah, but not much. Reached KLIA with my lovely apple strudels from CORICA at 10pm on 15th Oct, Thursday but reached home at 12am. Mum left a lot of foods for us so we ate crazily in de midnight XD

Slept at 4am and woke up at 6.45am on Friday, 16th Oct. Had been busy-ing for the whole morning. Followed Cat to Leong's house and stayed until 2pm. Went to Bank to withdraw money and went to buy some stuffs then. Amanda came to meet me for like 2 hrs. Then, baby yuin came. Started to choreograph our dance at 3.30pm- choreographed, practised and rehearsed in 3 hrs time, SCARY?? hahaha XD

Went straight to PJ Hilton then. Took bath, made up and set up hair immediately after rehearsal. It was really rush. Sook yuin and I ran here and there like mad girls. Dinner ended around 11pm, went to Station 1 since we didnt really eat much during de wedding night. However, foods are not served until 1am, went back and heated up de buffet foods then. Slept at 3am.

Woke up at 7am on Saturday, went for Dim Sum. Went Oversea with family at night. 3 busy days just passed like this..

Back to my sister, Cat,

She has been a very great sister in my 19 years of life. I rmb since I was young, Ginger pampered me a lot so I even used to tell everyone that she is de only one who lives inside my heart (excluding my mum). HAHAHA. Due to our HUGE age gap, people always screwed her up by mistaken her as my mum :P

When I was slightly older, Kathy learned how to drive so she used to brought me around, seeking for foods and stuffs. She was also de only one who stayed in a same room with me after Cat got her own room, took away supper for me every nights, went to shopping every weekend.

But to be honest, the memories between Cat and I were really faded until Ginger got married and Kathy moved to Singapore. We often chatted a lot, even in de midnight. Things even got better in June when I was back for my winter hols. When I was back to Perth in July, I suddenly sent her a sms and told her that I miss her a lot. And I got her replied "I miss you too.. No one accompanies me for breakfast, no one accompanies me to yam cha, no one talks to me at home.. So boring.." I was really touched at that moment. I often call her and chat when I'm free, we listened to each other's complaint, share our happiness.. Although she is not at home when I m back next month, I know relationship can remain firm and steady. I really feel honour to have this precious sister in my life and also appreciate everything she has done for me. Now, I miss her lame joke, crazy laugh..

Happy Mooncake Festival

My first year to celebrate Mooncake Festival without my family, 2009.10.03. Btw, I spent the whole day FRUITFULLY. LOL. Went to city centre and harbour town with XIONG. Spent quite a lot time to reach there, mainly because of some 'technical problem'. Had brunch at a Japanese Restaurant, YUMMY. She started to create some kinda funny 'stories' after getting some FOOD. HAHAHA. (She didnt stop for the whole day).

Had bubble tea too. Started to shop then. My sis asked me to prepare a RED NECKLACE and a pair of RED EARRING for her wedding. I think de theme is WHITE and RED since my bridesmaid gown is WHITE. Also a pair of high heels for the dinner at night. Besides, I have to get myself a pair of long pants as my new house is super cold at night. I was really in rush since de shops here close at 5pm and I had a lot of things to buy. Managed to buy everything except my earring T__T

Felt asleep when I was in de bus back from the city. TIRED. Reached home around 6.15pm and had dinner with Siaw Chin. Started to have fun with lantern after dinner. It was really a Herculean task as de wind was so strong. Candles were blown off after lighted but eventually we managed to light up 6 lanterns =)

Suddenly was craving for mooncakes so we decided to drive to xiong's house to have some, also a pot of hot tea and continue to light our lanterns there. However, we just brought a cloth and picnic at her living room in de end. HAHAHA. We chatted for like 3 hrs? Had super lots of FUN, CREATING STORIES again. Reached home around 10.45pm and started to online. Took bath at 12am. It was really COLD so I moved my heater to the toilet to warm the bathroom. Smart huh?!

It's 2am now but I'm still here. Gotta sleep now, EXHAUSTED.

Gonna pick BABY SAN from the airport AT 3PM tomorrow and have steamboat at night!! EXCITED~

Went to Carousel to get some food to store at home and also to duplicate our house keys. Siaw Chin suddenly had this idea to cook pasta and of course we succeeded. Cooked pasta, baked garlic breads, mushroom soup and some vege. Invited Xiong xiong and her bro for dinner too, basically almost every night this week. HAHAHA

Moved house

Have been moving house for more than a week and i finally got house phone and internet connection!! Will be staying with siaw chin and pey san in this 5 room house and de rental is even cheaper than my previous one!! SAN IS COMING ON SUNDAY~ cant wait ^^

Enjoying staying here as I have healthy food, much better environment and lovely housemates now ^^ A lot of them said that it is kinda obvious that this is a house of 3 future nutritionists, LOL. Fat free products, Multigrain pruducts.. BUT I' STILL FAT.

I'm kinda busy even this is suppose to be my free week. IT'S NOT FREE AT ALL.

Btw, Thanks dayong, jeff and xiong xiong for helping us to settle our stuffs when we were moving house.

Went to this creative japanese&dim sum combination restaurant at Carousel with siaw chin 2 weeks ago when we were about to buy stuffs for our new house. Bought 2 trolley of things from K-Mart & Coles and a full car of stuffs from IKEA. I couldnt even sit in de car as we had to fetch our dining table set home, lied on de back seat from Ikea to my new house LOL. BTW, i love this restaurant, reasonable price and nice food =)

Went to SFAS 09' on Saturday Night at Canningville Perth CLC. It was really awesome, we enjoyed the performance! Too bad I didnt manage to spot dayong when he was dancing. LOL. 刚刚跟妈妈谈电话.. 深深的体会到凯慈的"跟妈妈在一起好开心".. 哈哈.. 从电话一通到盖电话我都逗得妈妈一直笑.. 哈哈.. 跟她说我会在二姐结婚时表演她就开始笑了.. 然后说说十一月回去.. 很开心.. 谈了很多，听到妈妈笑，让妈妈开心是我最想的.. 原来我已经很久没有做到了..

前天把一些事情跟了一个朋友说，他回答我的是“因为你妈妈真的很疼你.. 她不要你不开心..".. 其实我都懂.. 信任一个人不容易，但妈妈是绝对不会出卖你，背叛你，离弃你的.. 朋友都说我的妈妈是最可爱的.. 她喜欢玩电脑，说笑话，吃零食，喝茶谈天，跟孙子抢电话来玩里面的游戏.. 真的很可爱..

很想念跟妈妈一起.. 很想念妈妈煮的每一道菜.. 有妈妈在身边的日子真的很幸福.. 很想现在就回去.. 但我也懂这不可能.. 期待回去的时候，我可以把更多的时间用来陪妈妈.. 我.. 要学会珍惜.. 因为我不想我们之间有任何的遗憾..

Went to Junior's house at Canning Vile last night. Made Vietnamese Spring Roll, I can proudly declare that I know how to make Vietnamese Spring Roll now!! It's quite easy btw and we had fun at his superior deluxe house. Also made Red bean paste, jsut realized it is also very easy to make. Hahaha. Instead of hide and seek, we played 'seek and hide' in his house with all lamps off, hahaha. Seriously, his house is just like a resort, nice environment, full of foods and entertainments and he was a NICE host yesterday. Reached home at 1am, tired yet fun XD

Due to the joining of new people, we need to introduce ourselves again. This time, Cheah Yen suggested us to announce our status instead of course of taking. Their answers were so FUNNY.

Everyone is asking how I am, just here to let you guys know I'm alright. Honestly, I was upset when I suddenly received the news from my family. Although this has been expected, when it really came, you would still feel uncomfortable, to lose a close family member.

Ginger said they have decided to plug off grandpa's life sustaining tube after everyone arrived. Was staring on my phone while studying for the whole day on Friday. Unsurprisingly, received her msg "Grandpa has passed away at home". I could imagine the atmosphere at grandpa's house although I'm so far away.

I thought I was alright by that time, I thought I was strong enough to comfort my dad. Who knows I cried non stop when I heard his voice. It is a really long story, anyway, I'M ALRIGHT NOW. Friends around me have been worrying and showing their concern.

Talked to my cousin too. She was really sad and I could even comfort her well!! She said she shoudnt go home to take bath that day so she could stay beside grandpa when he left but I told her, it is not important if you are there or not, grandpa couldnt really feel it. The most important is you treat him well when he was alive, when he had feelings towards us. Of course a lot more =)

Grandpa's funeral was held this morning and he is cremated. I understand a lot. Some of you who had a talk with me know what I'm mentioning. Thank you for all your concern again. Grandpa is resting in peace now as he has eventually released from pain and suffer.
